Friday 11th September 2009 - DS Returns
Digital Society Leeds returns from the summer break in the finest form possible after 4 supershows in the first half of 2009. The September Return has become an essential part of the DS calender and this year sees Intuition Recordings and Events Head and global Trance star Menno de Jong fly in from The Netherlands, returning to headline such an occasion after his DS debut appearance at the legendary 2nd Birthday event back in February.
Joining Menno at the top of the roster is man of the moment Simon Patterson who has become a DS dancefloor favourite - alongside recent killer productions such as 'Thump' and 'Different Feeling', Simon is an artist whose profile is at an all time high. Flying in from Finland for this spectacular event are none other than Anjunabeats maestros Super8 & Tab landing for their annual visit to Digital Society, fresh from more production success with 'Eleckra' and recent remixes on Vandit.
Completing the guest appearances for the September edition is 2 DS debuts in the shape of Ferry Corsten favourite, talented dutchman Rafael Frost who is currently in the limelight for Flashover release 'Red', and the first lady of Trance Sophie Sugar who has continued to glow under the massive label Armada with recent hit 'Beside You'.
Enhanced Recordings boss Will Holland kicks things off in true progressive style and resident Rav Takhar completes the main room lineup after becoming a firm favourite with the ever growing DS faithful.
September also welcomes Marcos, who features as the DS Spotlight DJ heading up the DS Invitation Room alongside Trance talents Akira Kayosa, Gary Proud, Pete Drury and Invitation big chief Harry Fowler. The top floor plays host to House outfit M.Y.O with residents Intertek and guests including headliner Phil Denton.
All this in the wonderful surroundings of Leeds most intimate venue MyHouse, with the fantastic DS decor & production, the Funktion One soundsystem, the reknowned (and updated) garden terrace, the friendlist staff in Yorkshire and drink promotions galore, Digital Society promises yet another spectacular edition !
