Angry The Truth About Rockstar

Hello all,

I am new to this forum stuff but I found this site and it seemed like a good place to start. I am here to check out new tunes and hear about new bands and tours, but also to talk about something I find really unbelievable about a major music tour sponsor. I have created a website located at:

The Truth About Rockstar Energy Drink: Hate | Racism | Anti-Gay/Lesbian

Basically it established the connection between Rockstar Energy Drink and the ultra-conservative Weiner family. Lead by Michael Weiner AKA Micheal Savage. This man spends his day broadcasting messages of hate and intolerance across the nations airwaves. He is also the inventor of Rockstar Energy Drink. His son is the CEO of the company and his wife id the CFO. Everytime you buy a Rockstar Energy drink you give these people your money.

How can bands like Rise Against, or Rage Against the Machine play tours sponsored by this company. It is my belief that if these musician knew who was behind Rockstar they would refuse to play on these tours.

What are your thoughts?

I think you're a conspiracy theorist and few people will care. If you ever bother to come back to this board.

Its sad that people like yourself are so apathetic to these issues. It would require little action to spread the word on the Rockstar issue yet you think no one will care that their money goes to line the pockets of the Weiner family.

It's sad that people like you think you're going to make a difference. I happen to like Rockstar, and I'll drink it if there isn't any Monster left. I'll continue to drink it. I don't care if Mr. Weiner himself is using my two dollars to asphyxiate pregnant unwed teenage women. Although, out of curiousity, would that make me an accessory to murder?

I've got an idea, you create a useful, clever product that sells and make millions. Then you can spend all your money on liberal, loving messages to offset the evil that is Rockstar. And someone will run around, posting on boards talking about how you will be the downfall of humanity because you're too liberal and blah blah blah. And then, somebody will respond to them the same way I am to you.

The problem for me isn't that he is a hate manger who lashes out against pretty much every minority group. I fully support free speech and his right to sound like an ass every time he opens his mouth. My issue is that he makes plenty of money preaching his hate and intolerance and then makes more money by deceiving the same people he bashes on his show into purchasing Rockstar Energy beverage. For example, both Russell Weiner (CEO Rockstar) and his father Michael Savage are strongly anti-immigration and anti-Mexican, yet they are sponsoring the X-games in Mexico City. I don't endorse companies lying to their consumers.

And as far as inventing something useful, lets face it we all know Redbull was the first to market. The truth is there really isn't much difference as to the ingredients between most energy drinks. So Rockstar is nothing new there.

That's weird. I didn't say innovative. I said useful. Whether you like Rockstar and its CEO or not has nothing to do with its effectiveness as an energy drink.

They're smart. If the people of Mexico don't like the views of Mr. Weiner or Mr. Savage, then they can be so inclined to not attend the X-Games or purchase Rockstar products.

I'm not really sure how you think sponsoring an event in Mexico has anything to do with the people who live there coming to the United States. You're drawing a line that doesn't exist. Just because they want people in Mexico to give them their money, or even people in the U.S. (as it will surely be televised) to see their ads and do the same, does not mean they want everybody in Mexico to come here. That's a stretch.

I can't see Miguel Hernandez en la ciudad de Mejico deciding to cross the border to America because of an energy drink.

Perhaps if Red Bull actually gave people wings, hispanics could fly here, avoiding the border patrol...

Well you are welcome to continue to choose to support the Savage family all you want. The drinks taste fine but there are tons of alternatives that are just as good and don't line the Weiner family's pockets. Argue all you want. I am letting people know about the connection. If you aren't convinced when you first learn about the connection then you probably never will be. Since you are the only one on this thread, I guess I have spoken my piece on this subject.

I'm not sure what V is but if its an energy drink then yea it's like V - except Rockstar is run by bigots. If they aren't in Austrailia yet I am sure they are planning on it soon.
