Totally agree about Tokyo Police Club - I had no idea they nor Arcade Fire were Canadian.

And it wouldn't be a true Canadian indie thread without mentioning Tegan and Sara.

And a lot of that is out of Quebec (and Montreal specifically).

Isn't the whole Constellation crowd from Montreal? GYBE and their Spin-Offs.

P.S. A Silver Mt. Zion is the bee's knees and easily one of the best shows I've been to.

Default Awesome Canadian (and other) bands

Ha I know I've already posted a bunch tonight, but I know some amazing indie bands from up in Canada. I'd suggest Volcano Playground and Irreverents. Those bands are totally sick. I actually found out about them while writing my music blog, and wrote some articles on them. They're also pretty cool guys to talk to. If you're interested in seeing a bunch of new bands, I write a new article almost weekly, so you might want to check out my blog at Newrocknews43.blogspot.com. As you might be able to tell, the title is simply New Rock News 43, but I hope you'll check it out.
