Re: Favourite bands?
I actually have quite a few. It changes depending on my mood lol.
I really like The Dear & Departed and The Confession.
However, I'm a Yellowcard fan for life! =)

Re: Favourite bands?
Red Hot Chili Peppers - I dig all of there stuff but I prefer their originial stuff (late '80s to One Hot Minute)
Also really into Cake, Frank Zappa, Ian Dury & The Blockheads, Kool & The Gang, Iron & Wine, Sly & The Family Stone, shit I could go on for quite some time so better leave it at those. But The Peppers are number one in my book no matter what.

Re: Favourite bands?
I'm currently really getting into Imogen Heap. Some good stuff.
Try "Imogen Heap - Hide and Seek".
Perhaps you remember the song from O.C or one of the skits from SNL. And yes, it's a woman singing.

it's been hardly a moment and you are already missed,
so, when i'm gone these words will be here to ease every fear and dry up every tear and make it very clear.

I loved the O.C parody using that song. It compelled me to go buy it.
My favorite band right now would be Bloc Party.
Their California sound is wonderful, and the lead singers voice is perfect in a quirky way.

Didn't realise they'd made it in America.

Re: Favourite bands?
I think they're British? I'm just guessing, though. I really have no idea - I was just making an observation at the lead singers voice.

Re: Favourite bands?
They are British, yeah. I just noticed that you were in America and I didn't realise their music had reached America yet.
I don't know why I was surprised... the internet does all the hard promotional work now.

Re: Favourite bands?
I’m really digging this band named The Black Summer Crush. Not many people heard of them, but I’m going to head out to one of their shows to check them out. If you like to see a blend of the Beatles with The Who and Jimi Hendrix, they’re a band to check out. myspace.com/theblacksummercrush

Re: Favourite bands?
I saw Revolution Mother on Warped Tour last summer. Those guys ripped live. They're one of my favorite newer bands out now. I love it that there are still some punk bands that are heavy and slay live.

Re: Favourite bands?
I've been exploring a lot of music lately. Revolution Mother is pretty cool. I've checked out radio rock like 10 Years, Alter Bridge, Hurt, Deaf Pedestrians, Shinedown and stuff like that. I still like System of a Down, Rage Against The Machine, Nine Inch Nails and bands like that too. So there's a lot of stuff I've listened to.

Re: Favourite bands?
Led Zeppelin
Influenced more bands than any other.
Traveled to other lands just to learn their native music and infuse it into rock.
Talent galore.
Entertaining.
Can't say much more than that.
