Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
Hi
I love many kinds of rock but my favorites tend to be older rock such as Aerosmith, Queen and Guns and Roses. I also like Bon Jovi, Avril Lavigne, Nickelback and Bryan Adams. I like Nickelback Very much. I like songs Rock Star, How you remind me and Follow you home.
What’s your view about these?

Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
I think they (Nickelback) sound the same in their songs, and the radio still overplays them.
But I love me some older rock. Just out of curiousity, how did Avril Lavigne wiggle her way into your music collection?

Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
I absolutely despise bands that consider themselves "ROCK" when all they are is emo. Fall Out Boy, Panic at the Disco, etc. are not by any means in my opinion of ROCK music... even though they do like to call themselves rock. I consider Fall out Boy a boyband that decided to learn how play instruments oppose to learning how to prance around the stage dancing.
As for rock music... I enjoy listening to Nirvana... Metric... Soundgarden... Arcade Fire... Incubus... Perfect Circle... Tool...Primus...Garbage...Beatles... Led Zeppelin... Pink Floyd... to name a few.

Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
I guess it would be classified as Classic Rock. I listen to most bands from the 60's and 70's (mostly English bands. My parents are English, so I've grown up with a lot of English music.)

Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
i like different types of rock...very diverse i guess. but i'm not really a fan of metal, or too much screaming. i mean, screamo is alright, but it can't be like screaming throughout the entire song...but yah, it's just my preference.

Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
Personally I like anything that is memorable and can keep a solid groove. I'd prefer big riffs in a song, but not everything has to have it to be considered good. I've liked bands like Deep Purple, Thin Lizzy, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, KISS to stuff like Nine Inch Nails, Ministry, Black Flag, Bad Brains and stuff like that. So my tastes range.

Re: What is your favorite type of rock?
Lately I've been into more modern rock like Shinedown, 10 Years, and stuff like that. My tastes have shifted towards more song oriented stuff. I was really into more metal but I've been burnt out on a lot of it lately.
One band that I've been checking out is Deaf Pedestrians. A friend of mine played me their song '15 Beers Ago' which fans of Hurt, Shinedown and stuff like that would be into. They have goofy lyrics but it's still pretty cool. Check them out.
