Who has Satellite Radio?
I am contemplating getting sattelite radio now. It is just to hard to keep a good mix of CDs in my car and home. I would prefer to just turn on sattelite radio and listen to it throughout the day.
I have used Sirius in the past but was not very pleased with it so I think I am going to give XM a shot when I buy it.

I have considered it too, but considering the vehicle I drive, I am worried about theft, where to mount the antenna ect. However, if you get it, I'm sure being around it and using it first hand might just change my mind...

Re: Who has Sattelite Radio?
My DH has XM in the truck. He loves it.. I never got into it, its easier for me to burn mixed cd's of the songs Im into at the time and keep them.
Everyone I know that used both likes Sirius better..

A 6 disc in dash changer that plays MP3s + A 6 Mbps Internet connection + A good bit-torrent site = More music than I could ever possibly listen to.

Brent's problem is that he is too lazy to label and properly store burnt cds. It sometime takes us 10 minutes just to find the cd he wants. Brent is a believer in the "if I can afford to pay for something to make my life easier, then I will" philosphy. Haha!

Re: Who has Sattelite Radio?
I have Sirius, and I'm pretty pleased with it. I have heard that XM has a better music selection but my husband is a Stern fan so we had to go with Sirius.

I have been thinking about getting this also. Actually thinking about getting it for my husband for Christmas but it Sirius also because he is already complaining about not hearing the Howard Stern show also.

Re: Who has Satellite Radio?
Well, I own stock in Sirius so it makes me happy to know that Howard Stern is indeed drawing the listeners in. I think they're both great - same product.

I have sirius and am quite pleased with it. Stern really is one of the selling points that's for sure.

Re: Who has Satellite Radio?
I am not all that familiar with satellite radio. Can someone tell me about it, and the benefits? Are there commercials?
Can you only put it in one place? (car vs. house)

Re: Who has Satellite Radio?
I used to have XM in the past and I really, truly loved it. At times I was a little overwhelmed by the choices, but I miss it.

Re: Who has Satellite Radio?
if you talk about worldspace, theres no ad in it and sound is crystal clear as its in a digital format. and a great variety of channels to choose from

I ahven't even heard of worldspace radio before. Is that new, or is it just not as well known as Sirius and XM?

Re: Who has Satellite Radio?
We have the XM satellite on our tv, but not in the car. We take a bunch of cds with us, or just listen to the regular radio.
