i'm sick of finding out about new records and collaborations 6-12 months after they're released

who's in the studio at the moment?
who's collaborating with who?
what's just been released!!!

I missed Pelican last night :-(

The Samuel Jackson Five just released a new album. I'm yet to hear it, but their last one was GREAT.

A few weeks ago, Alabama Public Television began airing what I guess you might describe as a Birmingham version of "Austin City Limits" except the bands are much more underground. Anyway, PELICAN was on a recent episode and you can watch the 30 minute show online here:
