Jenny Lewis - Acid Tongue

Jenny's the lead singer of a very cool band called Rilo Kiley. Awesome voice. Acid Tongue is her second solo album. In terms of a sound think Alternative Country. It's a great album. Doesn't let up from the get go. While it's slow music you can get into it does rock out at points and gets you going. On Carpetbaggers she duets with Elvis Costello which is a highlight. However my favourite song would have to be Next Messiah.

I'm a big Rilo Kiley/Jenny Lewis fan,but I've yet to buy this cd. So,thank you for the review! That's all the motivation I need to go buy it soon!

It's not quite like Rilo Kiley. More of a country edge than rock. But it's definetly worth a listen.

I LOVE JENNY LEWIS WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!!!!!! just went to go see her in san diego like a month ago and she was AMAZINGG!!!!! I absolutely love acid tongue, but i love RABBIT FUR COAT way more. Im gonna get her tatooed on me.
