The American Idol tour is about to kick off and I am going for the first time for one reason only...Jason Castro.
He finished 4th and I think in many ways he was mis-represented on the show. The truth is he's a young man who cares a lot about music (he says he's "obsessed" with it) and making a positive impact on people's lives through song.
On his MySpace page he says he is writing songs while on tour and that "I have a simple goal and that is to create songs that grab you by the soul and make you feel, songs that inspire, songs that give joy and songs that make you dream!".
He is a true Singer/Songwriter and not just another reality show contestant. In fact, he says that's why he struggled on the show because he was required to "crank 'em out" and "didn't have time to fall in love with the songs" and make them his own.

You are one of those chicks that liked the way he looked and convinced yourself he was a good musician?

No offense but this guy is AZZ CRACK.

The cat BUTCHERED some classics...plays a lil rhythm guitar...can't hit any special notes...and just smiles like some kind of female teen model to get young girls' attention.

I mean seriously...the cat doesn't measure up to some of the WEAKEST artists who have ever sold units...name me a significant artist whom he has a leg up on.
