Yeah I never liked Creed but this is totaly different. I have done some more researching about Alter Bridge and appearently Creed's Lead singer was a dick.. The rest of the Creed/AB didnt like the music they were playing nor the singer so they quit. This is much more aggresive. From what I have herd they are the most down to earth guys you will ever meet. Supose to tour with 7dust this summer. Kinda pisses me off that people wont give bands a chance just because they use to be something else. I was reluctant to buy the CD Blackbird but I did and was not dissapointed. I have since bought the other album and both are wonderful.
I've heard the same thing. They never get played on radio on the West Coast so I have no idea what their songs were like. I don't watch MTV or Fuse either so I didn't know much about them. I'll have to check it out.
How different is it from Creed? Who's singing in Alter Bridge?
Yeah I dont watch tv or listen to radio. If a friend of mine hadnt had the CD I would have never of herd of them. The guy singing is named Myles Kennedy. He has a cool website myles-kennedy.com. He was actually in the movie rock star. I think he did some of the vocals in the movie. He is the guy that gets pulled up on stage at the end. Atleast from what I have read.
I am more of an old school metal guy..lol.. Iron Madien, old Metallica.. I really like 7dust although there not that new. I dig Seethers new stuff. I really cant get this new Alter Bridge out of my CD player though..lol

I don't know if this is too poppy for your tastes but have you heard Deaf Pedestrians? I heard their 'Hail To The Geek' song on Beauty & the Geek. It's a catchy song. Check it out if you get a chance.
