Indie Music!
Know of any great indie artist who have impressed you? Name them here.
For me it is the The People's Party. I love the song "Black Widow".
Check them out.

Fugazi's awesome. So was Minor Threat. It sucks they haven't released any music in any form in quite a while.

Re: Indie Music!
I've been impressed lately by is Amelia. Indie group from Oregon, in the same genre as My Morning Jacket, Elliott Smith, Feist, etc. I think the song, "Enemigo" is my favorite. You can find them on myspace and I hope you like them too!

Personally I really like the Sohodolls, enough to dedicate an entire post to them on my blog.

Top band. Saw them 3 times before they split up at Sheffield, Keele and Loughborough. A real shame they had to split up but they priduced some great music when they put their minds to it.
Not such a fan of the Courteeners, personally. Just my take, like.

When I saw the Courteeners at Shepherds Bush they were awesome, very good performance and, people at Indie gigs are such wimps I managed to get to the front, leave get a beer and repeat 3 times.

Re: Indie Music!
I really absolutely loved Patrick Wolf. So much so that my ex and i were going to name our first born after one of his songs called "Tristan"... But i'm really loving Dan Black and the Prodigals right now. the latter sound like the pogues. love them.
