Hardest instrument to play?

I have been playing the piano since I was 5, and the flute since I was like 13. I tried learning the guitar, and MAN...that thing is hard!! What do u guys think is the hardest instrument to play?

Well, the flute was difficult for me, but mostly because my bottom lip was too fat for it. LOL So I switched to drums, and became HOOKED. Been a drummed since I was a kid, but a bit rusty as I haven't played in quite awhile. Picking up guitar, playing with my daughter, and I'm loving it.

I tried playing a Guitar and its hard for me cause it really hurts my hand..

My fingers are short so I really have to reach adn its uncomfortable and painful :\

same with me... find the guitar impossible...i guess i just dont have the fingers....too short!

For me, it was the guitar. I had to learn tabs slowly.. it worked for awhile.. buuut.. it's still hard.. i think if you're just naturally gifted like many musicians.. you're just lucky i guess!

For me the hardest instrument to play is the guitar. I really have a hard time trying to hit the chords of the guitar.

I agree to an extent, The guitar is hard but the Violin, is super hard

I think the guitar is the hardest instrument I've played. There are so many styles and techniques to learn which makes it even harder.

I started on bass when I was 20 yrs of age, and piano when I was 22. I'm competent at both, and play piano in the band I'm currently in. My quick grasp of these instruments led me to believe that violin would be a breeze. When all is said and done, f*ck the violin. That mistress is a hard one to grasp. I wish I would have learned her in my younger years.

Guitar is difficult to play well, but the basics are easy. But if you stay with it, it all comes together very quickly.

The Violin has always baffled me. Without frets it just doesn't make any sense...........

Violin for sure. Played it for a bit as a child, which in theory should have been when it was easiest to learn, now I'm completely useless.

It all depends on the style of music, but I think for every style, being a good singer is hard. Anyone can sing, but it's hard to be good.

Each instrument has it own skill. If you are talking about just doing it by hobbie, maybe the guitar needs more attention, if you are talking about professional skills, well, any instrument will be difficult. Cheers.
