I wanted to share with you all my review of Paul McCartney’s “Good Evening New York City” live concert CD/DVD release. You may or may not know this was released last month. For a Beatles fanatic this is an obvious pickup and I highly recommend it. This is an amazing testament to Macca's ability to not age vocally. The production is just right and the mix allows this to sound like fans expect it to. With more than half of this two hour plus bonanza composed of spirited versions of Beatles songs, the contagious party vibe of the show makes it very difficult to not sing along.
